Field Trips
Our field trip program is our classroom on wheels! It is a critical component of our experiential learning approach. In any one academic year, Shreiner typically organizes over 100 field trips for students.
Some of the most popular trips include:
- Renaissance Fair
- Georgian Shakespeare Festival
- The Center for Puppetry Arts
- High Museum
- Berry College Adventure Rope Course
- Alliance Theater
- Fernbank Museum
Preschool
Past field trips for the 4-year-old classes have included the Center for Puppetry Arts, Discovery Zone, Gymnastics Center, and Zoo Atlanta. Parents are always welcome to join their children on field trips.Lower and Middle Schools
The Lower and Middle School students love getting out and exploring! We take a variety of field trips throughout the year, and average one trip per month. Past activities have included ice skating and laser tag, as well as the destinations mentioned above. A highlight for Middle School students is taking an overnight trip at the end of the school year which incorporates fun and learning.Upcoming field trip announcements are sent out to parents by classroom teachers, and are also listed on our Calendar of Events.
