Special Events
Shreiner’s Calendar of Events is filled with fun! We have everything from holiday parties, picnics, and dances to costume parties, hay rides, cookouts, field days, and treasure hunts.
Preschool
Additional special events for our 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds include pony rides, astro jump, visits from the petting zoo, guest performers, and theatrical performances.Lower School
Additional special events for Lower School students include the Variety Show, International Festival, Cinco de Mayo, and the annual Olympics.Middle School
As the students grow older, they still have the opportunity to participate in special events, however they are given a choice as to how they would like to participate. For instance, they might be the judges at the annual Variety Show, or they may choose to set up their own Halloween haunted house for the younger students to visit. The choice is theirs, but they participate in every event.The curriculum is the greatest strength of this school. It is a very strong program that allows the students to excel beyond average level of achievement for their grade. The field trips are also excellent. Shreiner provides such varied field trips from museums and aquariums to fun-filled activities such as laser tag and amusement parks. Another great strength of Shreiner is its outstanding responsiveness to parents’ concerns. This is a big reason why my son has been a student at Shreiner since he was 3 years old!
