Shreiner's Remarkable Experience
Beyond its reputation for academic excellence, Shreiner sparks its students’ interests and captures their imaginations. As our students grow in their capabilities, we continually widen the spectrum of available enrichment programs, with specific activities available at different age levels.
Our Before & After School Program is integral to the Shreiner experience, as it provides a diverse array of activities for the children while helping out working parents (it's even included in the price of tuition!). It also allows students to complete their homework while on campus, and to get some additional outdoor play time to burn off steam before going home.
Arts and music are incorporated into the curriculum, and all students study Spanish. Physical education is also integrated, and we offer organized sports (basketball and cross-country) for older students.
The computer lab is one of the most popular areas of the school. Our all-new, state-of-the-art lab is visited once a week by supervised students who, depending on their age, have the chance to do everything from play word games that teach spelling and reading comprehension to write papers for classes. By the time students are in Middle School, they use the computers within their own classes to streamline their work. For example, students can begin writing assignments during class and then save on a flash drive to manipulate later at home.
At times, students benefit from additional attention and help with mastering a skill. To accommodate these students, and help them achieve their full potential, Shreiner offers a tutorial program on a one-to-one or small group basis.
All of this takes place on our beautiful, expansive, eight-acre campus - a tranquil learning environment where all students, teachers, parents, and staff are treated with kindness and compassion as part of the Shreiner family.
